6 Accessories You Will Love to Spruce Up Your Home or Business Office

When looking around at your office, do you ever sit and wonder? Why is my office so bleak and plain? Isn’t there something in here that stands out as “me”? I put together some of the items I use in my office to spruce it up a little and give it a little more “me” flair. You can use some of these accessories to spruce up your home or business office as well. 

Desk Calendar

The first thing on my desk is an awesome seasonal desk calendar. I use it for all our planning, scheduling, and programming. You name it, it’s on here. I love seeing the different themes for each month. It makes it fun to look at while you’re working. 

Decorative Desk Calendar

I gotta tell you how much I love this changeable block calendar. My husband gave this to me for our 16th wedding anniversary and I love it. I absolutely love Steamboat Willie and it makes my day so much better when I have something I love, given by the person I love, to look at every day and I get to change it every morning. Actually, I usually change it the night before so it’s ready for the next day. 

Diffuser 

You would not believe how much I use and love this diffuser, it is such a relaxing way to get the tension out or when your anxiety spikes. I love the smell of cedar in the winter and orange in the summer. If they made something that smelled like burning leaves for the fall, I would be all over it, but I haven’t found the mixture yet. It helps a lot when I’m stressed or just need a relaxing scent to fill my day. 

Kitty Sticky Note Holder

Now this one is going to seem a little weird because I own no pets, but this makes me smile whenever I have to pull a sticky note from my kitty sticky note holder. It’s just so cute! and I get a lot of compliments on it. Even the children think it’s adorable. 

Keyboard stickers

I hated looking at this plain white keyboard every day. So, to make it a little more aesthetically pleasing. I bought these keyboard stickers to put on there to make it more playful and interesting. My coworkers want some now too for their keyboards. Surprisingly, they have been on there for almost a year and are still going strong. 

Pencil Holder

This is one of my favorite things on my desk. I’m a librarian and I love to read, so this suits me perfectly. It holds everything I need for my day. Pencils, Pens, Markers, Highlighters, a ruler, a pair of scissors, and paper clips in the shape of books! I love the rustic look of it and the book design. What’s not to love about this when you work in a library?

These are just some things that make my day a little easier to handle on those tough days when my head is about to explode from the headache and the pressure. When your plate is already overflowing and someone throws another piece onto it or when you get those rare days to just relax for a few minutes and enjoy the little things that bring you joy.
